The entire public library system experienced unexpected closure yesterday as a result of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The Governor issued a press release stating that only essential (disaster relief) workers should report to work. This keeps the roads clear and allows crews to try to clear up any tsunami damage as well as handle any other emergencies. The scheduled AARP tax help was canceled.
