Join us for this public lecture by Dr. Sai Bhatawadekar, Director of Center for South Asian Studies, Associate Professor of Hindi-Urdu, Theatre & Dance, & Cross-Cultural Philosophy at University of Hawaii at Manoa. This lecture is a joint effort of the Aina Haina Public Library, the German Studies Association, and the Goethe Institute, as part of the “Deutschlandjahr USA” (Year of German-American Friendship, or #Wunderbar Together). In connection with the Deutschlandjahr, the German Studies Association has received funding to set up a public speaker series, encouraging scholars in German Studies in the U.S. to give public lectures on topics related to their research. #Wunderbar Together is a collaborative initiative funded by German Federal Foreign Office, implemented by the Goethe Institute, and supported by the Federation of German Industries.
