The Friends

Established in the early 1960s, the Friends of the Aina Haina Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports programs and events at the library. The Friends organize the Aina Haina Public Library annual book sale, in which a wide assortment of books, videos, DVDs, and CDs are available at modest prices. Smaller book sales are occasionally organized at other times during the year and a small ongoing book sale is available daily. The Friends provide support for ongoing and special library programs; summer reading programs for all ages; events and activities for children, teens, adults, and senior citizens; and additional funding for books, media, and other resources.
