Why Ride a Bicycle?

Time:
Saturday, May 9, 2015 - 10:30am - 11:00am
Location:
Meeting Room

Aina Haina Public Library is happy to welcome back the Hawaii Bicycling League (HBL) for a talk about the benefits of bicycling for all ages, from keiki to kupuna, be it for exercise, commuting, running errands, or just for fun!

Looking to get into biking but don't know where to start?  HBL will cover all the ways to get you rolling!  They can teach you about basic road rules and etiquette, stationary exercise bikes, biking technique, saftey gear and clothing, and even recommend a type of bicycle to fit your body and purpose.  They will also discuss stationary exercise bikes, which are a great way for seniors to stay healthy.  Q&A encouraged.
