About Advance Care Planning: It's How we Care for Each Other [CANCELLED: FLOOD RECOVERY]

Join us for a free public talk that will discuss the importance of advance care planning--a way to communicate your wishes for care and naming a substitute decision maker who can speak for you if you can't speak for yourself.

Using materials from The Conversation Project, learn how to advance care planning impacts your health care not only for yourself but also your family and loved ones, start making a plan and sharing it with others.

Presenters Susie Lee and Hope Young is from Kōkua Mau, a non-profit Hawaii Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Anyone over the age of 18 is encouraged to attend.

Masters of the Baroque: Telemann, Bach and Vivaldi

Baroque music forms the major portion of the classic music from the 17th century. Key composers include Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handel, Claudio Monteverdi, Domenico Scarlatti, Alessandro Scarlatti, Henry Purcell, Georg Philipp Telemann and the likes. The Baroque period saw the creation of tonality, an approach to writing music in which a song or piece is written in a particular key; this kind of arrangement has continued to be used in almost all Western popular music.

Towel Teddy Bear Craft Program
