Join us as licensed acupuncturist Mei-Lin Maunakea talks about how acupuncture and other traditional Chinese treatments can be used to improve and maintain health. Mei-Lin practices at the Kuakini Medical Plaza and is a faculty instructor at the World Medicine Institute.
Research has shown acupuncture can improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, improve quality of sleep, and increase energy level. Traditional Chinese medicine is also used to help with pain management, stress, anxiety, depression, menstrual irregularities, and weight loss.
Please contact the library at least two weeks in advance if special accommodation is needed.
