Free Comic Book Day

All day (10am-5pm): Show us your library card to get one free comic book of your choice, while supplies last. Costumed characters may be appearing. Appearance time to be announced.

10 am - Noon: Bring your camera to take pictures with costumed comic book character Batgirl!

Kenny Endo & Taiko Center of the Pacific

The cultural program will demonstrate taiko in group and festival drumming. Tako master Kenny Endo composes his own music and plays taiko professionally as a solo artist, with his ensembles, and in collaboration with other artists. Mr. Endo and his taiko ensembles have performed extensively all over the United States, Japan, and throughout the world. This one-hour program is suitable for all ages. Quiet Coloring Hour

Teens and adults are welcome to come to a quiet hour of coloring. Assorted coloring pages and crayons will be provided. Come enjoy an hour of peace in the middle of a busy week!

Afterschool Teen Movie with Snacks

Teens grade 6-12 are invited to come relax and enjoy free snacks in the Meeting Room while we show a hit movie!

Our movie licensing agreement does not allow us to reveal the movie via website, but feel free to call us or ask us in person during library hours to find out what we will be showing. Hint: it's the 2015 science fiction films starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis about a young woman who discovers she is intergalactic royalty and must protect Earth's people from a terrible fate. This movie is rated PG-13.
