Friends of the Aina Haina Public Library Holiday Book Sale

Friends of the Aina Haina Public Library will hold a 2-Day Holiday Book Sale on Friday and Saturday, November 14-15.  The sale will be from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Holiday shoppers can find specially priced items such as gift quality books, collectibles, DVDs and CDs.  All items are individually priced.

Friends of the Aina Haina Public Library is a volunteer organization which helps support the library through its Annual Book Sale, the Year-Round Sale, and Weekly Mini-Sales.  Funds from the sales supplement the purchase of library materials, in addition to subsidizing adult, teen and children's summer reading programs, weekly preschool story hour, and presentations, which have included music, theatre, crafts, health, financial planning, elder care, and various subjects of interest for all age groups.

The Fairy Grandmother Presents "The Not-So-Scary Halloween Story Time"

Star Wars Reads Day is an all-ages national event that celebrates reading and the popular Star Wars movies.  Pop in for these all-day activities and giveaways, while supplies last!  One giveaway per person please.

Chamber Music Hawaii's Spring Wind Quintet

Join us for a relaxing evening of musical entertainment for all ages!  The audience will be invited to ask questions during this interactive one-hour program.  Quintet members Susan McGinn (Flute), J. Scott Janusch (Oboe), James Moffitt (Clarinet), Jonathan Parrish (French Horn), and Marsha Schweitzer (Bassoon) will play some well-known pieces as well as arrangements of Hawaiian songs.
