Join us for an enchanting afternoon of Celtic hapr music and Irish tales with on of the premier Celtic harp playes in the world and a captivating spoken word artist. Mahalo to the Friends of the Library of Hawaii and to the numerous other sponsors acknowledged on the program flyer.
Created by the artist who brought you "Blue", "Auntie Martha and the Nene" and "Peter Rabbit", this age appropriate experience focuses on what makes us happy. Exploring empathy, kindness, friendship and things that make us smile. THis free 30-minute performance is perfect for ages 3 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Program is sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts (MOCA) for the City & County of Honolulu.
Free help in preparing basic federal and state income tax returns is being offered again this year at the Aina Haina Public Library Meeting Room, with trained volunteers available to help those who cannot prepare their own tax returns, have low to moderate income, are disabled, have limited English skills, or are elderly.
Please join us for a very special free musical performance by the American folk group Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem, whose style combines folk, country blues, progressive bluegrass, and jazz. Besides performing, they will also discuss the origins of their style of music.
