Financial advisor David Ching from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney will present useful, current information about Social Security. Most people have little understanding of how their Social Security benefits work, the various benefits that are available to them, and what impacts their benefits. It's important for people to know how to maximize the amount that they will receive from the government over their lifetime. The workshop will cover the following:

What can you do to help preserve your wealth, and to reduce the chances of outliving your money? Understanding and preparing for the potential risks is critical to keeping your financial plan on track. The workshop will help you balance these considerations when creating your financial plan. Presenter David Ching from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California and Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Management from University of Hawaii. He focuses his practice on helping busy professionals efficiently identify, understand, and implement a customized wealth management strategy.
Cheryl Yoshie Nakasone, Artistic Director of Jimpu Kai USA, will present an informational program on the living art of Shuri-style Kumiwudui (Okinawan dance-drama) and music with a visiting artist from Okinawa, Mr. Sekiyuu Chinen. Through short lectures and demonstrations, the audience will gain an insight into the art form, the music, the performance techniques, and the language of this classical dance-drama, unique to the royal court of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
